| In 1992 the NBDA incorporated as a non-profit Nebraska Corporation and obtained its 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, which allows contributions to be tax deductible. The Articles of Incorporation provided for membership classes, a board of directors, and officers. The membership elects the board of directors; the board elects the officers; and the officers, via committees, run the corporation. The Board of Directors of the NBDA meet approximately once a month and generally conduct the business of the Corporation. The President, annually, appoints various committees. |
