Elliott was named to the Class C1 All Tournament Team as his Chadron team advanced to the Class C1 state finals in 2009. He was also named to the Omaha World Herald All Nebraska First Team, and the Class C1 All State teams. Averaging 14.5 points and 10.3 rebounds, he was also named the Nebraska Gatorade High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Elliott has a 3.58 gpa and is an honor roll student. Elliott was a member of the 2007 NBDA Gold team and the 2008 NBDA White Team.
