| The Bison Red swept their opponents in pool play and posted a convincing win in the first round of the Price Chopper Tournament over Missouri Heat, 75 - 54. But the run came to an end in the semifinals as the Bison team lost to fellow Nebraskans, Omaha Crusaders, 66 - 61. |

*Bison Red trailed for most of the first half, but used a 17-4 run in the final 4:54 of the half to take a six-point halftime lead. Waverly's Tyler Evans scored seven points during the run. Milwaukee pulled to within two points in the first five minutes of the second half, but a 11-0 run restored control for Bison Red. Bison Red shot 49 percent from the field and had 21 assists, led by Trevor Menke's team-leading eight.

*Bison Red watched a 21-point first half lead dwindle to three with 1:03 left in the game, but a pair of free throws by Brady Lollman with 35 seconds left provided a cushion and Bison Red went on to finish pool play with a 4-0 record. Zac Bargen scored a team-high 12 points while Lollman and Dylan Flinn each added 10. Elliott Eliason and Flinn had 10 and 8 rebounds, respectively. Bison Red overcame 20 turnovers with a 58 percent shooting effort. Eliason, a 6-foot-11 post player, added three steals, two assists and a blocked shot. |
