The Bison Red reeled off four consecutive wins at the Adidas Super 64 tournament before losing to the Atlanta Celtics 49 - 65 in the second round of the tournament. The Reds' wins included a 89 - 30 win over Houston Inner City Cougars in which Sam Bongamin of Omaha Bryan set NBDA records with 10 three pointers and 31 points.

*A solid defensive effort limited the New Jersey squad to 33 per cent field goal shooting in the first game of pool play. Ethan Brozek led Bison Red with 13 points, including a thundering dunk off an assist from Millard South's Quentin Urban during a 8-0 run early in the second half. New Jersey took a 42-39 lead with 7:04 left in the game, but Bison Red responded with a 14-2 run to take control. Derrius Vick added 12 points and seven rebounds while Reath Jiech scored eight of his 10 points in the second half. Urban was scoreless, but had six assists and three steals.

*Bison Red erased an eight-point deficit with a 12-0 run in the first half and steadily pulled away in the second half as Silicon Valley managed just 14 second-half points on 5-for-24 shooting. Ethan Brozek had team-highs of 12 points, nine rebounds, and three steals. All of Brozek's rebounds came in the second half. Bison Red had a 37-25 rebounding advantage.

*Sam Bongamin set Bison-Nebraska program records with 32 points and 10 3-pointers. Bongamin broke the single-game record of 31, set in 1991 by Andre Woolridge of Omaha Benson. His 10 3-pointers snapped the record of six, set in 1999 by Doniphan's Joe Sochor. Bison Red shot 48 per cent from the field while Houston was just 12-for-57 for 21 per cent. Dylan Heath pulled down 13 rebounds, just three short of the program record. Galen Gullie had five assists and three steals.<

*Bison Red forced 18 turnovers to key the win over a taller team. Massachusetts led 22-17 midway through the first half, but a 12-2 run gave Bison Red a 29-24 lead and they led by at least six points the rest of the game. Reath Jiech posted a double-double with game highs of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Derrius Vick added 13 points, including eight in the second half.

*Bison Red was unable to overcome a 29 percent shooting effort and a 34-22 deficit in rebounding, and was eliminated from the Adidas Super64 tournament. Atlanta, the defending tournament champion, led 34-31 early in the second half, but a 18-7 run during a six-minute span boosted the advantage to 14 with 7:04 left in the game. Bison Red pulled to within seven points with 3:48 remaining, but managed just two free throws the rest of the game while Atlanta reeled off 11 points. Bison Red made just 3 of 19 from 3-point range for 15 percent. Reath Jiech scored a team-high 12 points while DK Augustine and Derrius Vick each added 10.<
