The Bison Gold team posted a 3 - 1 record in the River City Hoops tournament in Omaha sponsored by the Omaha Sports Academy and the OSA Crusaders on July 6 - 8, 2012. The Gold's only loss was by one point as they were defeated in their third pool game, 74 - 75 by Texas Lightning. The Gold claimed third place with a 75 - 54 win over Nebraska Xpress.
