After finishing pool play 2 - 1, the Gold lost the first round of the tournament on a buzzer beater. Kiefer Musiel of Lincoln Northstar led the team in scoring for the tournament with 36.

The Bison Gold won their first pool game 66-55 over Team Southern Indiana. After a back and forth game in the first the Gold finally broke lose in the second half keyed by three 3 points shots by Connor Beranek. In total the Gold made nine 3 pointers and finally pulled away at the end of the game. Connor Beranek lead all scorers with 13 followed by Kiefer Musiel with 12. The Gold will play their pool game against Camp Daryl on Thursday night.

The Bison Gold won their second pool game 60-52 over Camp Daryl of Michigan. The Gold had a hard time putting away Camp Daryl. Leading the whole game Camp Daryl made a run in the middle of the second half by taking a 1 point lead with 5 minutes to go in the game. At that point Sam Hahn took over the game scoring 8 of his 10 second half points to get the Gold the lead which they never lost. Leading the scoring was Sam Hahn with a game high 16 points followed by John Harris with 11. The Gold will play Wisconsin Playground in the their third pool game on Friday evening which is a rematch of the Gold’s first tournament game during the Hoosier shootout.

The Bison Gold lost their third pool game 64-39 in a rematch of a tournament game in the Hoosier Shootout 64-39 against the Wisconsin Playground. The first half was a game of runs with the Playground going on a 10-2 run at the end of the first half to take a 11 point lead at the break. The Playground went on a 14-2 to begin the second half and never looked back. The leading scorer for the Gold was Kiefer Musiel with 9 points. The Gold will start tournament play tomorrow in the Silver Division at 2:15.

The Bison Gold lost their first game of the Kentucky Shootout tournament 71-69 to the Field house Elite of Indiana. After trailing 44-37 the Gold turned up the defensive pressure to take a 5 point lead with 5 minutes to go. The Field house scored the next 6 points to regain the lead. The game went back and forth until the Field house hit a shot with 13 seconds to go to take a 1 point lead. Kiefer Mueisel was fouled with 2.7 seconds to go and hit both free throws to give the Gold a 1 point lead. On the inbound pass the Field house players hit a 40 foot bank shot as the buzzer went of giving them a 2 point win. The Gold was lead in scoring by Keifer Musiel with 13 points followed by Jordan Schroer and Trey Moore with 10 each. The Gold finishes the Hoop fest with a 2-2 record and will finish up in Kansas City starting July 22.
