Highlights: A 43-28 rebounding advantage helped Bison Red win its first pool play game at the Best of Summer tournament. Bison Red had scoring runs of 10-2 in the first half and 11-2 in the second half to maintain a 5-8 point lead for most of the game. Greg Smith scored a team-high 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds while Jake Marvin and Drew Sankey each had eight rebounds. Bison Red was 6 for 12 from 3-point range in the first half as Dane Bacon and Pete Uhing each hit a pair from beyond the arc. Steville Burns scored 13 points, had four assists and three steals.

Highlights: Bison Red was unable to overcome a 33 per cent shooting effort and fell behind by 19 points six minutes into the second half. Trent Miller, who had eight steals in the game, keyed a rally that cut Puerto Rico's lead to eight with 6:43 left in the game, but that was as close as Bison Red could get. Bison Red was 6 for 26 from 3-point range. Greg Smith had 10 rebounds and scored all of his 15 points in the second half.
