After trailing by 6 points early in the first half the Bison Gold went on a 15-2 run and lead by 7 points at half. The Old School after trailing by 10 early in the second half had a 7-0 round to cut the lead to three. Over the last 10 minutes of the second half the Bison gold finished out with a 25-8 run. Darrius Vick lead the scoring with 13 points and Eric Donald also scoreing in double figures with 10 points. The Bison gold will finish out pool play on Monday with a game against the Indiana Elite. The Bison Gold trailed most of the first half and were down 40 -37 at halftime. In the second half it was a see saw battle until the 7 minute mark when the Bison Gold were losing by nine. During the next five minutes the Gold went on a 15 -4 run to gain the lead with 2 minutes to go. After 4 different lead changes in the last 2 minutes, clutch free throw shooting by Ethan Brozek sealed the victory for the Gold and a top seed in the tournament. Three Gold players were in double figures with Ethan Brozek leading the way with 15 points followed by Zach Sterup with 13 and Eric Donald with 11. The Gold’s next game will be Monday night against U-Play from Toronto Canada.

The game had a very fast pace in the first half with the Bison Gold leading 40-37 at half time. The first five minutes of the second half the Bison Gold played the best defense of the summer season and built an eleven point lead. The U-Play went on a 10-3 run to cut the lead to four points but key baskets by Zach Setrup and Derek Shouse got the Bison Gold team going again. Darius Vick led all scorers with 16 points while Zach Sterup adding 11. The Bison Gold are now in the Elite 8 of the Hoosier Shootout and will play Tuesday morning at 10:30 am. CBIZ hit 6 three point shots in the first half and added 3 more in the second half to seal the victory. The Bison Gold lead early but the great shooting of CBIZ was something the Gold could not over come. In the second half the Gold made a run to cut the lead to three points but CBIZ scored the next eight points and never looked back. Darrius Vick lead the Gold in scoring with 18 points. The Gold will head to Louisville and start pool play at 10:00 am on Wednesday.
